Our school Board meets regularly and is an important decision-making group of our school. The functions and duties of members include:
- taking part in establishing and reviewing the school's objectives, priorities and general policy directions;
- planning financial arrangements; determining (in consultation) a dress code for students and formulating codes of conduct for students;
- promoting the school in the community;
- approving charges and contributions, extra-cost options, items to be supplied by the students and any advertising and sponsorship agreements;
- evaluating the school's performance;
- providing advice to the Principal, and taking part in the selection, but not the appointment, of some school staff.
Our Board is comprised of the Principal, staff members and parent and community representatives.
The Principal will invite nominations for positions on the Board as vacancies occur through the school newsletter.
