Dear Families, Parents and Carers

Thanks for opening up our Newsletter…. read on for a summary of events and notices:

Assembly

We were privileged to have many of you join us on Wednesday for our very first Student Leader assembly. The students delivered a wonderful assembly and persevered through their nerves showing the value of Resilience.

Open Morning This Thursday

This week on Thursday 27th February we invite families to our ‘Open Morning’ which will commence in the undercover at 7.30am and food will be served until 8.30am. You can order a cooked breakfast via QuickCliq supporting our P&C OR for a basic breakfast we will be setting up a free breakfast club in the undercover area.

Classrooms will open at 8am and will remain open for parents to visit, including Art/Auslan and Science/Core until 9am. Children will be setting goals for what they would like to achieve this semester in learning and some personal goals too. We would love parents to share their goals and wishes too.

Being at School Matters

Every day counts when it comes to your child’s education. Children who attend school regularly show higher levels of achievement and predicted future school success. Please send your children to school everyday, unless they are unwell. If you do need to take extended absences, please email the principal for permission northtomprice.ps@education.wa.edu.au

P&C

Our P&C need you! If you are free after school this Wednesday 26th Feb (in the staff room) the P&C are attempting to reform a committee - they have found nominees for most roles, however we need enough members at the meeting to vote them in! Helping the P&C can be as simple as attending the term meeting. The meetings are very relaxed and welcoming and great way to find out what’s happening in the school and get to know some other parents and families.
