NTPPS ICT Program
At North Tom Price Primary School the students are very lucky to have access to a wide range of ICT resources to assist them with their learning. These resources include:
- Interactive whiteboards
- Junior and senior computer labs
- Senior laptops
- i-Pads
- Digital cameras
- Various robots
- Osmo
- Electrical circuit kits
- Connect
The ICT curriculum involves all students from Kindergarten to Year 6. It sees them participate in activities that assist them to develop their ICT skills in order to enable them to:
- Use computer based technologies to locate, access, evaluate, manipulate, create, store and retrieve information.
- Express ideas and communicate with others, using computer based technologies.
- Develop an awareness of the range of applications of computer based technologies in society.
- Discriminate in the choice of computer based technologies for a given purpose
- Develop the confidence to explore, adapt and shape technological understandings and skills in response to challenges now and in the future.
- Use computational thinking and information systems to define, design and implement digital solutions.
